Beschreibung

The use of online learning in higher education is becoming increasingly important, as it provides innovative pedagogical and multimedia approaches to teaching. Consequently, it is equally important for e-tutors to train students who will supervise and accompany these new teaching and learning scenarios how to properly utilize the new opportunities. In the Blended Learning Seminar (BLS) Basics of E-Tutoring, prospective e-tutors are taught how to effectively use e-learning tools, supervise virtual learning groups, and apply effective teaching and learning methods. The seminar is designed as a modular blended learning seminar. In addition to suggestions for the methodological-medial design of the synchronous opening and closing sessions, instructors will find input materials that they can implement into the asynchronous self-learning phase. These materials are divided into three large thematic blocks: Role reflection, pedagocial basics and tools. The blocks each consist of several self-contained micro-learning units, each of which is designed to take 45 minutes to complete and can be combined into modules of greater or lesser length as required.
